Bath towels serve more than the obvious purpose of drying off after a shower or bath. People often want them to do more - to add to their decor. With storage space often at a premium, towels can often be left on display, even when folded for storage. They are also on dispay when drying or hung ready for use. Folding a towel attractively is not enough - they need to complement the bathroom and each other.
If your towels are to be “on show” then your choice can liven up the mood in your bathroom or help to make it feel more relaxed, depending on the colors you choose. So do not think of this as the least important consideration – keep it at the forefront of your mind when shopping for your towels.
Be sure about the quality of the towels – good quality towels will look better for longer and will continue to absorb moisture and dry you effectively for longer.
If you like to wrap yourself in a towel, or like towels to feel soft when drying yourself, then you should pay particular attention to the texture or feel of the towel. Towels are made from different materials – and feel differently.
Make sure you choose towels that are of the correct size for you. There are various sizes, from bath towel wraps, hooded bath trowels and large bath towels to small hand towels and you can choose to buy across the range of sizes or buy the one size that meets your needs. Some people like to have the same color in a range of sizes - others prefer contrasting colors in the different sizes. Whichever choice you make, remember the primary purpose for your purchase.
When considering how much you wish to pay for a towel remember that better quality towels may last cost more initially, but last longer and so save money in the long run. However if you change your decor frequently and prefer matching towels, then you may not need the towels to last as long. Cheap bath towels, rather than more expensive alternatives can offer tremendous value for money
